A tight first half on an uneven pitch with a strong wind in their faces, Duddon opened the scoring half way through the half but the goal was disallowed for offside.  Hawcoat then scored but agin the goal didnt count as the flag was raised for offside.  Duddon were then awarded a penalty but unfortunately the shot struck the base of the post.  The Hawcoat Park keeper then pulled off thesave of the first half as a great shot from Dec was tipped onto the bar.  With minutes left on the clock, Dec opened the scoring with a shot which went in off the far post.

With the wind at the backs, it was nearly all Duddon in the second half with goals coming from Rowly, Stu, Stefan, Andy and Stu again to make the final score 6-0 sending Duddon through to the next round of the cup
