Welcome to the website of Duddon Sports Junior Football Club.
2010/11 sees Duddon Sports JFC enter it's 11th year as a junior football club. Season 2009/10 was the club's most successful season with the U14 team winning all the local trophies, including the league title, and just missing out on the Lancs Youth Cup with their only defeat of the season in the semi-final.
The club is in a healthy position with more and more players and team, this year sees us running the following teams :-
Would moving kids' football to a summer game help improve the development of young footballers?
Yes - better pitches mean a better chance to develop technique/skills
No - wouldn't make any real difference to development
Maybe - but I'd be worried about more injuries on firm pitches
